The geographic concentration is not coincidental.

Wildlife Health Australia, which manages national wildlife health surveillance data from more than 45 partner organisations and leads the National Avian Influenza Wild Bird Surveillance Program, has been tracking the spread.[2] Chief operating officer Dr Tiggy Grillo read the seal case in exactly that context.
